Terry Atchley, MAOM, L.Ac.
I am from New Orleans originally, but arrived in Portland in 2010 to attend the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
After graduating, I traveled to Nepal for three months to help open a remote primary care clinic and practice acupuncture with the Acupuncture Relief Project. This humbling experience allowed me to treat a multitude of illnesses and develop my connection with people through not only words, but touch and healing.
I returned to Nepal to lead a group of practitioners to another remote area of the country during the winter of 2015.
My acupuncture journey has taught me how resilient, transformative and rejuvenating the human body is and I am grateful to help in the healing process.
My personal style incorporates acupuncture, nutrition, lifestyle counseling and bodywork to aid the body in maintaining balance and health. My focus is on advocacy for what is best for each individual and their body.
When I'm not working I love to travel, hike, camp, backpack, snuggle with my cat Yoda and spend time with my fiancé.
